House of Reps commends NPC on Reforms,Re-orientation.

The House of Representatives committee on Labour, Employment and Productivity has praised the efforts of National Productivity Center NPC under the leadership of Dr Kashim Akor on various reforms and re-orientation to encourage productivity as part of our national discourse.

The Chairman of the committee, Alhaji Ali Wudil made this declaration during an oversight function of the House committee to the National Productivity Center NPC, Abuja.
The committee lauded the ongoing reforms initiated by Dr Kashim Akor in the last seven years, particularly on training and retraining, capacity building and empowerment, enterpreneurial development by the agency and also the crucial roles in the execution of constituency and related projects by the National Assembly members.
He said the innovations has acquainted Nigerians with one form of productive activities or the other with concerted efforts to ensure self realization and reliance both in white collar jobs, skilled and un-skilled activities.
He promised to enact more legislation that will provide more legal avenue to enable NPC prosecute and improved on it’s primary assignment.
Earlier, the Director -General, National Productivity Center NPC, Dr Kashim Akor and his management appreciated the routine constitutional exercise being carried out in the agency, including other Ministries, Departments and Agencies, stating that it will encourage it to toe the line of the core values of the organization.
Dr Akor stated that NPC doors are widely open for scrutiny and admonitions on other best practices, saying the agency remains the hub of exemplary leadership in Nigeria.
