The Executive Chairman of Suleja Local Government Council,Hon Abdullahi S Maje has felicitated with women in Suleja and the world at large on the occasion of International Women’s day.
Hon Abdullahi Maje in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary,
Abdulrahim Idris,stated that the purpose of International Women’s Day was to bring attention to the social, political, economic, and cultural issues that affects women , and also serve as platform to advocate for the advancement of women
“Through purposeful collaboration, we can help women advance and unleash the limitless potential offered to economies the world over.” The Chairman said.
Abdullahi Maje said he is committed to providing a level-playing ground for women in Suleja Local Government Area to improve their social, political, and economic opportunities to meet up with international demands.
He encouraged women to continue to stride harder in order to actively maintain the role of major partners to his government, and other social and economic activities within Suleja, and the world at large.
