Nasarawa Varsity 6th Combined Convocation : 130 bags first class degrees

The forthcoming 6th combined Nasarawa State University Keffi convocation, scheduled to hold Wednesday 30th March, 2022, at the university main campus, will graduates 24, 129 undergraduate students.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Bala Suleiman Muhammed disclosed this during a press conference ahead of the week long event series.

Bala stated that, the undergraduate programme have total of 24, 129 graduates in various disciplines.

He added that a total of 130 graduated with first class, while 5, 014 had Second class upper, 15, 749 had Second Class Lower, 2, 926 had third class, and 81 had Pass Degree respectively.

According to him, the graduates were trained between 2016/2017, 2017/2018, 2018/2019, and 2019/2020 academic session.
Muhammed stressed that, the institution is also graduating 10, 034 students at the postgraduate level, with award of doctorate, academic masters, professional masters and postgraduate diploma Degrees.

The VC who responded to questions from the journalists expressed worried over the poor funding of the university.
He reiterated that, inadequate finance has marred the total commitment of the university governing body to accelerates development as expected, according him, his stewardship had recorded tremendous achievements.
