NASC trains Legislative Aides on Service Delivery

The Executive Chairman, National Assembly Service Commission NASC, Engr Ahmed Kadi Amshi FNSE has promised continuous training and. re-training of legislative aides with a view to delivering on their statutory mandates.

 

He made the promise at the ongoing 3 day induction organised for all cadre of legislative aides held simultaneously at three locations, Hotel De Bentley, Green Minds Hotel and Top Ranks Hotel all in Utako area of Abuja.

 

The theme of this year’s induction program tagged ‘Basic lawmaking processes and procedures for effective and efficient legislative aides performance’ was geared towards delivering on their basic jobs to enhance legislative innovations.

 

He described legislative aides as the engine room of federal lawmakers, stressing the need to acquaint them of the neccessary apparatus that will place them at the peck and call towards more legislative advancement.

 

Amshi stated that the National Assembly will continue to leverage on the performance of legislative aides as the bane of sane democratic practices.

 

The Executive Chairman assured the legislative aides of more supports that will enhance productivity and welfare of the members.

 

The Actimg Chairman of the commission, Senator Tutare Abubakar representing the North East represented the commission’s Chairman, Engr Ahmed Kadi Amshi at the event.

 

The training was organised for all categories of legislative aides that includes Secretaries, Personal Assistants PA’s, legislative aides LA’s and Senior legislative Aides SLA’s at the National Assembly.
