NHRC recieves Baze University Students on Study Tour

The National Human Rights Commission received students from Baze University who were on their first study tour to the Commission.

 

They were students of 300 and 400 level Law Clinic, led by the law Clinic administrator, Mr Kenechukwu Agwu.

 

The Senior Adviser to the Executive Secretary, Hilary Ogbonna gave the students detailed explanation about the happenings of the on-going SARS panel.

 

Senior Cadre staff of various departments also participated and enlightened the Law students about the core mandate of the Commission.

 

The Law Clinic administrator said the purpose of the study tour was to understand the mandate, activities, and the workings of the Commission.

 

He said the visit was beneficial to the students and that it shall be a continuous program. He expressed optimism that the student will learn more as they will be exposed to the various aspects of the Commission’s work as it related to their studies.
