In furtherance to the house-to-house raid operations of the Command as directed by the Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command CP Ogundele J. Ayodeji that such sting operation will be a continuous exercise towards ensuring a lasting peaceful atmosphere in Minna metropolis and most especially to equally ensure a guaranteed peaceful environment for the March 18th Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections in Niger State.
The Operations Department of the Command in conjunction with other tactical teams on March 16th ,2023 at about 2355hrs, conducted another raid operation at Angwan-Roka, Timber-Shed Maitumbi, Tudun-Natsira, New-Market, Dugudu Maitumbi and the following suspects were apprehended;

Exhibits recovered from the suspects include; seven cutlasses, three saw blades, three knives, two scissors, three horns, six shisha pots/pipes, six phones, military camouflage trouser, and sticks among other items.
All suspects are in custody at SCID Minna undergoing investigation and they will also be arraigned in court for armed robberies related offenses, as they usually engaged in blocking flamingo junction and other areas to disposess unsuspecting members of the public of their valuables.
