The Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Ahmed Ibrahim Matane has commiserated with Alhaji Yakubu Abubakar ( Wakilin Minna) over the death of his mother, Hajiya Hauwa’u Abubakar.
Late Hajiya Hauwa’u Abubakar died today Wednesday 22nd June, 2022 in Minna after a protracted illness.
Matane described Hauwa’u’s death as “a great loss not only to the family of Wakilin Minna but Niger State in general, given her invaluable contributions to the cause of humanity.
The SSG paid glowing tributes to the deceased, saying she was a good mother, and urged the Abubakar’s family to take solace in the fact that the late matriarch lived to witness the enormous successes achieved by her children.
According to Matane “On behalf of the Government and people of Niger State, I commiserate with Alhaji Yakubu Abubakar, Wakilin Minna on the painful loss of his beloved mother,”.
He called on the bereaved family to uphold the cherished ideals of kindness and generosity associated with the matriarch of the Abubakar’s family and prayed Almighty Allah (SWT) to repose her soul, and give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
