The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Oyo State Chapter has commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Governor Seyi Makinde on the various scientific and strategic moves and steps taken so far to contain and curtail corona virus in Oyo State.
In a release issued and signed by the Vice Chairman, NIPR Oyo State Chapter Mr. Goke Adelakun on behalf of entire members of the Institute in the state, the NIPR gave kudos to Governor Seyi Makinde for his proactive measures aimed at curtailing the spread of corona virus.
NIPR is a body of professional image makers, saddled with the responsibility of managing reputation and image in the country noted with nostalgia the various steps of the Government in the areas of formulating timely policy initiatives and laws to contain the spread of the corona virus, in Oyo State in addition to various advocacy and sensitization programmes being carried out to prevent People from contacting the disease.
The NIPR Oyo State Chapter equally lauded the action of the Government in the areas of constituting COVID 19 task force headed Personally by the Governor himself that has been working tiredlessly which has also led to the establishment of diagnostic centre at Olodo and other centres, equipped with state of the Art medical equipment and also manned by medical and health Personnel trained to combat the spread of the disease.
