The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially commenced preparations for the 2027 general elections as Hon. Nelson Ogbu has picked his nomination form to contest for the Ado State Constituency seat in the Benue State House of Assembly.
Ogbu made the announcement at the ADC State Secretariat in Makurdi, where the exercise drew the presence of party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and members from Ado Local Government Area who turned out in solidarity with his aspiration.
Speaking after obtaining the nomination form, Ogbu said his decision was in line with the guidelines and requirements of the party, added that his ambition is driven by a desire to provide quality representation and promote grassroots-oriented leadership.
He expressed appreciation to party leaders, stakeholders, and the ADC executive committee in Ado Local Government Area for their support and confidence in his candidacy.
Ogbu reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive leadership, youth empowerment, and people-centered representation, noting that his political journey would be anchored on service to the people.
He concluded with a message of optimism, expressed confidence in divine support as he progresses in the political race.
