The Chief Corporate Communications Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.), Mr. Olufemi Soneye, has been honoured with the 2024 Media Manager of the Year Award by Champion Newspapers.
The award was presented by Mr. Ernest Ebi, a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, during a prestigious ceremony held on Saturday at Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos. The event brought together distinguished personalities from various sectors including media, business, politics, and public service.
Mr. Soneye’s recognition come as a testament to his exceptional performance in repositioning the corporate communications architecture of NNPC Ltd., especially in the wake of the company’s transition into a limited liability entity under the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA).
