The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has fixed Thursday, July 9, 2026, as the official passing-out date for members of the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I across the country.
According to a statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline W. Embu, the winding-up activities commenced on June 23, 2026, and will feature a series of programmes designed to prepare corps members for life after national service.
The activities include Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC) sessions organized by the NYSC in collaboration with relevant agencies, registration and clearance of corps members by Local Government Inspectors (LGIs), as well as the signing of final clearance by Zonal Inspectors.
The scheme stated that the low-key passing-out exercise would involve the distribution of Certificates of National Service to eligible corps members in all Local Government Areas nationwide.
Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished the corps members a successful winding-up and passing-out exercise.
He also urged them to uphold the core values of the scheme and allow the lessons acquired during service to guide their future engagements, while remaining worthy ambassadors of the NYSC.
The passing-out ceremony mark the completion of the mandatory one-year national service programme for the affected corps members.
