OZOBULU DRUGS WAR :IGP, SOUTH AFRICAN POLICE LAY AMBUSH FOR CARTELS

ABUJA: The police authorities in Nigeria alongside their South African counterpart are said to have laid ambush, aimed at tracking down the accused leader(s) of the drug cartels fingered for having allegedly written the script that have led to the killings of over (30) thirty citizens of the Nigeria identities residing in South Africa.

This was revealed by the Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of the Federal Criminal Intelligence Investigation Department (FCID), DIG H. M Dagala when thirdeyes247 called on him aimed at ascertaining the position of the force towards the killings and alleged arrests of some Ozubulu people who claimed innocent on the issue that has the public special interest.

Reacting after perusing into a petition written against Chief Aloyious Ikegwuonu popularly known as ‘Bishop’ Ozubulu on his alleged involvement in the killings cum his alleged connivance with the Anambra State Police Command to sweep the sensitive matter under the police carpet, it was authotatively gathered that the force headquarters will soon commence full investigation on the yoke of murder, which may likely be hanged on the neck of the youngest billionaire in Anambra State if the petitioner proves his allegation(s) beyond reasonable doubt.
“I must confess, this petition was minuted to me from the office of the Inspector General of Police few days now to comment and not to deal. You know how sensitive this matter is, the interest of the Governor of Anambra State is there, the Christian Association of Nigeria’s (CAN) have their own interest and as well the international communities and I suspects that the IGP is studying the matter with kin carefulness but I will defiantly see the IGP today (28/11/2017) and the outcome of our meeting will throw a light on a way forward”, DIG Dagala stated.
Exonerating the Anambra State Police Command of the alleged connivance with anybody to sweep under the carpet the killing of the innocent worshippers at the Saint Phillip Catholic Church Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State and the continuous killings of the Ozubulu indegens in the name of drug war both in South Africa and at home, the nation’s most intelligent policeman cautioned Nigerians to always have confidence in the police at their footstep, noting that no policeman, including the IGP will live to compromise what happened at Ozubulu on August 6th, 2017.
Assuring firmly that the police is going to unmask anybody who have hands in the barbaric act, FCIID boss however sues for peace, warning that there will be heavy consequence on those who may use the present situation in the state to foment trouble.
Asked to comment on a letter purportedly written to the Inspector General of Police by the office of the Provincial Commander, Directorate of Priority Crime Investigation, Serious Corruption Investigations Gaudeng in South Africa,which contained that they are investigating the alleged hiring a South African citizen (one Philip Mphelo) by Chief Aloyious Ikegwuonu, ‘Bishop’ to murder Chief Great Chinedu Akpunonu known as Oburuchu and his family members, DIG Dagala received the letter from thirdeyes247 as a working document, promising that after the meeting with IGP, the police skills of investigation will definitely change.
