PERSONNEL WELFARE: Niger CP decorates 281 newly promoted Corporals

In view of the recent promotion of 10,581 Inspectors, rank and file in the Police Force by the Inspector General of Police, and the Niger State Police Command benefitted 281 Police Constables promoted to the next rank of Corporal. The beneficiaries were decorated today 23rd April, 2024 by the Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command CP Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman,and assisted by DCP Aminu M. Garba (Admin) and DCP Falade Micheal (Operations).

During the decorations, the CP congratulated the beneficiaries and encouraged them that they were on the course in their chosen career. He noted that the good conduct they exhibited so far had made them qualified for the promotion, and not dismissed.

 

He urged them to keep their records clean and be disciplined for promotion ahead. He asserted that decorating the beneficiaries today was a mark of honour and wished the new Corporals the best in their career.

 

The CP charged the married ones and those getting married to take responsibility, while he said all beneficiaries should be more responsible, as he warned that if they were found wanting, they could be reduced in rank.

 

He advised them to remain dedicated, committed and disciplined. He said that rather than being reduced in rank, they should be getting promoted. He prayed that they shall attain the height to the glory of God and the NPF. Finally, he admonished them to protect their names, their family and the Police Institution.

On behalf of the beneficiaries, Cpl Zaka Obey appreciated the IGP, the Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command and the Command’s management team for finding them worthy of the promotion and promised not to relent.
