PVC Attacks: Group asks Tinubu to call his attack dogs to order

Save MiddleBelt Nigeria has called on the Presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to call his attack dogs to order from attacking Nigerians resident in Lagos who wanted to obtain their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) ahead of 2023 Presidential Election.

 

 

The group in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Musa David expressed dismay at the recent attack on hundreds of Nigerians who wanted to collect their PVC by suspected thugs who reportedly working for the former governnor of Lagos State.

 

 

The Group who charged Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to device a means in which every registered voter will be able to collect their PVC, urged the Electoral body to embark on 24 hours collection of voters card in densely populated areas in the country with provision of adequate security.

 

 

The statement read;

 

” Our attention has been drawn to recent harrassment of hundred of Nigerians who wanted to collect their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) by thugs suspected to be working for the Presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress ( APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in Lagos State.

 

“We are very displeased with this hugly development and therefore call on the former governnor of Lagos to call his attack dogs to order and allow people to collect their PVC and express their Civic Right in the 2023 Presidential Election.

 

“On the part of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) , we implore the Electoral body to embark on 24 hours delivery of PVC at the densely populated areas in the country so that every eligible Nigerian can vote for the candidate of their choice in 2023.”
