As Nigeria marks the second anniversary of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, Renewed Hope Global, a diaspora-led advocacy platform, has commended the President’s bold leadership and significant policy achievements under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
In a statement signed by its Chairman and Chief Host, Amb. Joseph Kolawole Adebola Esq., the group congratulated President Tinubu, described his two years in office as “a period of courageous reforms and visible national repositioning.”
“Two years ago, Nigerians entrusted President Tinubu with the responsibility of steering the nation through tough economic and security challenges. Today, we are proud witnesses to the undeniable progress made in laying the foundation for sustained growth,” the statement read.
Renewed Hope Global highlighted key reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidy, unification of the exchange rate, and a renewed focus on fiscal discipline, transparency, and revitalization of critical sectors. It further praised the administration’s efforts in promoting youth and women inclusion as well as technological innovations through agencies like NASENI and the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.
“These were tough but necessary decisions that have started repositioning the economy. We see the vision, the structure, and the execution—clear signs of a greater Nigeria in the making,” Adebola added.
The group also emphasized the relevance of its Renewed Hope Global Conference, which has featured key government officials such as Ministers, Special Advisers, and Directors-General, who have directly engaged with Nigerians both at home and abroad.
“This engagement reinforces that the Renewed Hope Agenda is not a mere slogan but a deliberate and strategic national plan anchored on people-centred policies,” the statement concluded.
Renewed Hope Global urged President Tinubu to consolidate on his achievements in the coming years and assured him of continued support from Nigerians in the diaspora.
“Mr. President, you have kept faith with the people. Nigeria is rising again, and under your leadership, we are confident our best days lie just ahead,” the group affirmed.
