The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen has mourned the passing of Mr. Gboyega Soyannwo, the Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State.
Speaker Abbas said the late Mr. Soyannwo was a loyal aide to Governor Sanwo-Olu and a dependable ally in his government. He added that the death would leave a great vacuum in the Lagos State Government House.
The Speaker commiserated with the Soyannwo family and the governor, while praying to God to grant the soul of the late Deputy Chief of Staff eternal rest.
Soyannwo reportedly died on Wednesday at the age of 55 after a brief illness. He was survived by a wife and two children.
