Tinubu Decorates ADC, Lt. Col. Nurudeen Yusuf, with Colonel Rank

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially decorated his Aide-de-Camp (ADC), Lieutenant Colonel Nurudeen Alonwonle Yusuf, with the rank of Colonel. The brief ceremony took place at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Thursday, in the presence of Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the ADC’s wife, and other distinguished guests.

 

Lt. Col. Yusuf, who has served as the President’s ADC since April 2023, has an impressive military background. After earning an Ordinary National Diploma in Computer Science from Offa Polytechnic in 2000, he joined the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna. Yusuf’s military career has seen him receive training in various countries, including the United Kingdom, China, Israel, and France, alongside his service in key roles within the Nigerian Army.

 

His assignments have included serving as Officer Commanding the State House Military Intelligence Group, Military Assistant to the Chief of Training/Operations at the Army Headquarters, and Staff Officer at the Nigerian Army Intelligence Corps Headquarters.

 

The President congratulated Lt. Col. Yusuf on the occasion and expressed his appreciation for his dedication and service to the nation.
