TYO FCT dissolves Area Councils Interim Leadership, announces replacement

The President of Tiv Youth Organization (TYO) Abuja Chapter, Chief Joseph Saater Undu has announced dissolution of interim leadership of some of the area councils within the Abuja chapter of the organization.

 

The President further approved the appointment of new interim leadership of the affected area councils.

 

The affected area councils, according to a letter signed by the President include

 

1. Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC).

Hitherto led by Mr. Gabriel Igbawua Aondofa, the interim leadership is hereby dissolved and Comrade Agbenge Terkaa Louis, is appointed as Interim President.

 

2. Bwari Area Council

Hitherto led by Shagbaor Abraham Mede, the interim leadership is dissolved and Comrade Nongov Jacob Kamo, is appointed as Interim President.

 

The appointments are for a period of six months, subject to renewal.

 

The new leadership is charged to conduct elections within Six months to usher in duly elected Executives in their various Councils.

 

While congratulating them, the President urge the new appointees to work with other relevant stakeholders in their Councils to put together their interim executive council for efficient service delivery.

 

He also advised them to shun all divisive tendencies and work together for the unity, peace and stability of the Tiv youths resident in their various Councils while assuring them that, the task of repositioning TYO Abuja Chapter is sacrosanct.

 

The appointments take effect immediately.
