The All Progressives congress has said it will abide by the ruling of a court suspending its National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
Justice Danlami Senchi of a Federal Capital Territory High Court had on Wednesday pronounced Oshiomhole suspended.
Senchi said based on the suspension of Oshiomhole by the party in his Ward in Edo State, he has no justification remaining as the head of the party.
Speaking on the development, the Acting National Secretary of the party, Chief Victor Giadom, said the court order suspending Oshiomhile had been received.
Giadom said the party will abide by the decision of the court.
He told newsmen on Wednesday: “We have received the court order and as a law abiding party, we shall respect the court order.”
“As a party we are aware of the court injunction.
“As a law abiding party, we will respect all lawful court orders.
“Very soon the National Working Committee will meet and you will hear further from the party.
“I am trying to say that the All Progressives Congress will respect all lawful court orders.
“We will soon do that.”
On the presence of policemen and operatives of the DSS, Giadom said: “There is nothing new about that.
“There has always been security at the National Secretariat of the party.”
