WFD honours NILDS DG,Prof Suleiman with Impact and Innovation Award

The Director General of NILDS,Prof. Abubakar O Sulaiman has been honored with the impact and innovation award by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD), the UK public body dedicated to strengthening democracy around the world.

 

This prestigious recognition, in a letter signed by the WFD Regional Director, Africa, Michael Nevin, acknowledged his exceptional development-driven initiatives at the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, NILDS.

 

It is truly an honor to receive such commendation and be acknowledged for the remarkable efforts and dedication demonstrated by the DG, management, and staff of the Institute.

 

This was contained in a statement issued by the Deputy Director, information and communication to the Director General, Joke Akinsami released on Saturday.

 

Prof. Sulaiman embarked on this journey with a clear vision of creating meaningful change in our country, and it is truly incredible to witness these efforts being recognized on a global scale. The recognition from the esteemed WFD, our partner for the past three years, serves as a testament to the power of passionate individuals uniting to drive sustainable development.
