The official convoy of the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, on Thursday rescued five victims of a fatal auto crash along the Onicha-Ugbo – Asaba expressway. The convoy arrived the accident scene in Aniocha Local Government Area of Delta State at about 5:30pm while on its way to Owerri in Imo State. Emir Sanusi Calls For Laws To Address Rate Of Divorce

The Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II has called on state governments to enact laws that would address the worsening rate of divorce and other marital challenges in Nigeria. Senate probes GSM operators over drop calls

A Senate panel on Wednesday held a public hearing to investigate telecommunications network operators in the country over increasing rate of drop calls. President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan has asked the GSM operators in the country to refund to their customers money which they paid on drop calls.
