Admiralty University of Nigeria (ADUN) has made an impressive leap in the 2026 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, climbing from 128th to secure a spot in the top 25 universities in Nigeria. This milestone marked a significant achievement for the institution, which continue to solidify its reputation for academic excellence, groundbreaking research, and community engagement.
In addition to its rise in the national rankings, ADUN’s global standing has also improved considerably, advancing from a position of 11,902 to one of greater prominence, a testament to its growing international presence and influence.
Professor Christopher Bankole Ndubuisi Ogbogbo, the Vice-Chancellor of ADUN, credited the university’s rise to the collective efforts of its founding fathers, staff, students, and leadership. “This achievement is a reflection of our shared vision and mission to build a global university, committed to educational excellence, innovation, and character development,” Ogbogbo said.
