Leaders, elders, youths, and stakeholders from the Ulayi, Ijigban, and Ekile communities, collectively known as the ARI Axis in ADO Local Government Area, have endorsed Patriot Nelson Ogbu as their preferred candidate for the ADO State House of Assembly seat ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was made on Sunday during a strategic stakeholders’ meeting convened to deliberate on the political future and development priorities of the ARI communities.
Speaking during the meeting, stakeholders described Nelson Ogbu as a credible, people-oriented, and dependable leader with the vision and capacity to effectively represent the interests of ADO LGA at the state legislature.
According to participants, the endorsement reflects the confidence the people have in Ogbu’s leadership qualities and his ability to attract meaningful development projects and opportunities to the area if elected.
The gathering also stressed the importance of unity among the Ulayi, Ijigban, and Ekile communities, noting that collective action and political cooperation would be critical to securing quality representation and advancing the interests of the ARI Axis in the 2027 elections.
Community leaders further urged residents and political stakeholders across the area to remain committed to peaceful engagement and sustained collaboration as preparations gradually begin ahead of the next electoral cycle.
