Sultan asks Muslims to look out for Ramadan moon from Sunday

The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), under the leadership of its President-General and Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, has urged Muslims across the country to look for the 2024 (1445 AH) Ramadan moon from Sunday.   The NSCIA also called on Muslim faithfuls who have credible sighting of the crescent to inform members of the National Moon Sighting Committee.   Prof. Salisu Shehu, the Deputy Secretary General of NSCIA, said this on Friday in a statement.   According to him, Sultan Abubakar felicitated with the…
