CIFCFIN Registrar Bags Chieftaincy Title, Abeneche Atta Igala

The Atta Igala, His Royal Majesty, Agabaidu (Dr) Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa II (CFR), has reaffirmed the commitment of the Igala Kingdom to honor illustrious sons and daughters who have distinguished themselves through selfless service to the community, the nation, and humanity.

The monarch gave the assurance during the coronation of the Registrar of the Chartered Institute of Forensic and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria (CIFCFIN), Dr Isa Salifu, who was conferred with the revered chieftaincy title of Abeneche Atta Igala on Tuesday at the royal palace in Idah, Kogi State.

While applauding the contributions of Dr (Chief) Isa Salifu, the newly installed Abeneche Atta Igala, His Royal Majesty praised his unwavering commitment to the development of the Igala Kingdom and Nigeria at large, both during and after his years in active service.

He also used the occasion to urge other privileged Igala sons and daughters to emulate the virtues of the new titleholder, particularly in promoting the socioeconomic and political progress of the Igala people.

In his response, Chief Dr Isa Salifu expressed profound gratitude to the Atta Igala for recognizing and rewarding dedication to service. He pledged to continue contributing meaningfully to the advancement of the Igala nation and Nigeria as a whole.

The accomplished banker and administrator described the presence of friends, professional colleagues, and well-wishers at the event as a strong motivation for continued excellence and service to humanity.

Following the coronation, Dr Salifu hosted a grand reception for dignitaries and guests at his country home in Agbeji, Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State.

Prior to this latest honor, Dr Salifu had been conferred with the titles of Omachi Eje Dekina and Akingbade of Ekirin-Adde, among others, in recognition of his enduring contributions to community development.
