Coalition passes Vote of Confidence on NASC Chairman

The Coalition of Civil Society Groups for Peace, Security, Good Governance, Equity and Justice had passed a vote of confidence on the Executive Chairman, National Assembly Service Commission NASC, Engr Ahmed Kadi Amshi over his sterling and transparent leadership at the Commission.

Speaking during a visit to his office on Thursday, the National Coordinator, Comrade James Okoronkwo lauded the leadership on his exemplary leadership quality, service delivery, and strict adherence to the relevant statues establishing the National Assembly Service Commission NASC.

He particularly praised the leadership on the recent appointment of Ag Clerk to the National Assembly CNA, Mr Sani Magaji Tambuwal with the pledge to end perennial labour issues between PASAN and NASC.

The National Coordinator urged the stakeholders and the general public to discountenance the atrocious campaign of calumny against NASC chairman, Engr Ahmad Kadi Amshi by a mercenary and microscopic CSO, called Centre for Legislative Advocacy and Action.

He said the civil rights movement as the conscience of the nation have been in the vanguard of building a virile Nigeria state where merit and excellence thrives, this is In keeping with her avowed commitment to promoting excellence and hard work.

Responding, the NASC, Engr Ahmad Kadi Amshi narrated that he saved our nation huge revenue by building the permanent site of National Assembly Service Commission head quarters at the National Assembly Complex .

He thanked the Coalition of Civil Society Groups for Peace, Security, Good Governance, Equity and Justice for solidarity visit, maintained that Mr Sani Magaji Tambuwal‘s appointment as the Acting Clark to The National Assembly was meritorious and in consonance with relevant provisions of the NASC Act.
