Committee of CMDs converge on Annual General Meeting in Abuja, as Pate declares Three Day Program Open

The University of Abuja Teaching Hospital Gwagwalada UATH has played host to Committee of Chief Medical Directors and Medical Directors of Federal Tertiary Hospitals In Nigeria CCMDFTH.

 

The Chief Medical Director , University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Professor Bissala Ekele who gave the opening remarks at the occasion on Thursday at Sandaralia Hotel, Abuja expressed delight for turning the challenges of Tertiary Hospital located in the FCT playing host to opportunities to showcase its activities.

 

Ekele who welcomed his colleagues from across the country, stated that their presence underscores the importance of health to nation’s building.

 

He commended the Minister of Health and Social Welfare and it’s State Counterpart, Professor Ali Pate and Dr Tunji Alausa for their usual supports and honoring the occasion.

 

Pate who expressed the determination of the federal government to transform the Health sector , described the Annual General Meeting for 2023 as timely.

 

He said the Ministry was already rolling out programs and policies that will conform with the presidential directive with a view to providing affordable and accessible health care to Nigerians .

 

The three day Annual General Meeting has its theme “Sustaining Quality Tertiary Health Care Delivery in a Challenging Economy.
