Members of the Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria, Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado-Ekiti have rejoiced with professor Kayode Olabanji over his re-appointment as the Chief Medical Director of the hospital by Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen by the Head of the Unit, Comrade Foluke Ojo on behalf of the officers.
According to the statement, the appointment of Prof. Olabanji is well deserved considering how much he has contributed towards lifting the hospital to an enviable height with a prayer to God to give him the wherewithal to do all that is right.
Mrs. Ojo explained that the first term of Professor Olabanji was fruitful and a lot of achievements were recorded especially in the areas of staff welfare, discipline, provision of working tools among others hoping that the second term opportunity given to him would serve as an added advantage to make the institution a model and pride of place.
She promised the readiness of the unit to cooperate with the administration of the CMD towards ensuring an improved healthcare services to the public.
She however appealed to the CMD to continue to initiate more policies and programs that would make the hospital environment more conducive for workers and encourage them to give their best.
Mrs Ojo also appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji for re-appointing Professor Olabanji and for the improved attention he is giving to the health sector.
