The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has commenced the written examination for candidates participating in the ongoing Police Specialist and General Duty Constable recruitment exercise, with centres activated across the country.
In Abuja, the exercise is being held at designated venues including the Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA) Secondary School, where candidates turned out in large numbers to take part in the screening process.
To ensure strict compliance with guidelines and transparency, the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, personally visited the examination centre to monitor proceedings and assess the level of organisation.
During the inspection, the police chief expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the exercise, commending both candidates and supervising officers for their orderly behaviour and professionalism. He noted that adequate security arrangements and logistics had been put in place to guarantee a hitch-free process.
The Command urged applicants who are yet to sit for the examination to adhere strictly to the schedule indicated on their Examination Invitation Slips and report promptly to their assigned centres.
Candidates were also reminded to present all required documents, including their printed Examination Invitation Slip, National Identification Number (NIN) slip with a clear photograph, and a writing pen. They were further advised to comply fully with the approved dress code.
The FCT Police Command reiterated its commitment to ensuring a transparent, credible, and merit-based recruitment process.
