The Governor who expressed delight over the projects appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari who approved funds that were utilized for infrastructural development in the state that were hitherto difficult due to fall in crude oil and increased running cost.
Earlier, the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructural Development, Mamman Musa said the 4.3Km road reconstruction in Bosso Estate was awarded in 2018 and completed in 2020, despite delay experienced as a result of pausity of funds and the Covid 19 pandemic.

The Bosso Estate roads were constructed in the 80’s and 90’s and were mainly surface dressed without drainage system, however, Governor Abubakar Sani saw the need to reconstruct and rehabilitate some of the roads so as to close gaps in the infrastructural deficit particularly in urban areas, to improve the status of urban centres and to add to the aesthetics of urban areas making it liveable.
The development of these critical infrastructure remained cardinal to economic regeneration policy of the state government as it will guarantee access to market and other factors of production as well as provide alternative links to the Western-Bypass and aid free flow of traffic in the area thereby improving socio-economic life of the residents.
