Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has directed the state Ministry of Works and Infrastructural Developmet to ensure renovation of offices in various Ministries and Agencies in order to provide for a good working environment for staff to enhance efficiency .
The Governor gave the directive when he paid an unscheduled visit to the the Ministry of Youths Development, Niger State Rural Electrification Board and the SSG’s office in Minna.
While assessing the offices, the Governor expressed concern over the dilapidated structures in the environment and other uncompleted projects in the complex, stressed that all offices must be put in good working condition no matter the portfolio of staff so as to enable workers carry out their duties diligently and effectively.
“These offices need to be renovated and new ones built so that staff can enjoy good working environment no matter their cadre. This will enable them work to the best of their ability and deligently carryout their duties.”
He also called on the Ministry of Works to facilitate the completion of all abandoned projects and renovation of dilapidated ones in the Ministries.
