National Assembly postpones resumption to October 7

The National Assembly has postponed its resumption of plenary activities earlier scheduled for Tuesday, September 23, 2025. Lawmakers will now reconvene on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

 

This was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the Clerk to the National Assembly, Kamoru Ogunlana, Esq., on the directive of the presiding officers of both chambers.

 

The statement clarified that while plenary sessions have been shifted, committee activities will continue as planned.

 

“All Distinguished Senators and Honourable Members are requested to take note of the new date and adjust their schedules accordingly. Any inconvenience caused by this rescheduling is deeply regretted,” the statement read. Of
