NCS Debunks Fake Recruitment Cancellation Notice, Urges Public to Ignore False Message

The Nigeria Customs Service has dismissed as false a message circulating on social media claiming that its ongoing recruitment exercise has been cancelled.

In a statement, the Service said the information did not originate from the agency and described the claim as misleading, stressing that there has been no official announcement regarding the cancellation of any recruitment process.
The Service urged members of the public to disregard the message and avoid sharing unverified information capable of causing confusion among applicants and stakeholders.

Reaffirming its commitment to transparency, the Nigeria Customs Service advised the public to rely solely on information released through its official communication channels for accurate and up-to-date updates on its activities, including recruitment.

The Service listed its verified platforms as Facebook (Nigeria Customs Service), Instagram (@customsng), TikTok (@customsng), Threads (@customsng), X (@customsng), and its official website, Nigeria Customs Service, urging the public to consult these channels for authentic information.
