Niger SSG commiserates with Sarkin Sudan over Chief Imam of Kontagora’s death

The Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Ahmed Ibrahim Matane has commiserated with Sarkin Sudan, Kontagora, Alhaji Sa’idu Namaska, and the entire people of Kontagora Emirate over the death of Malam Muhammad Abdulmalik, the Chief Imam of Kontagora who died in Kontagora after a protracted illness.
In his condolence message, the SSG described late Malam Muhammad Abdulmalik as a bridge-builder, who contributed immensely to the peaceful coexistence of adherents of Islam and other religion in the Emirate.
According to Ahmed Matane, “the death of the Chief Imam of Kontagora came to me as a rude shock but we take solace in the fact that “from Allah we all come and to Him, we shall all return”. Nobody shall live longer than the time appointed by Almighty Allah! The deceased life on earth was very eventful, he will continue to be remembered as a religious leader who always preaches the gospel of love, peace, harmony, and togetherness.
He enjoined the Muslim Ummah in the Emirate and all those saddened by the demised of the Chief Imam to bear the loss with fortitude and continue to imbibe his worthy legacies.
“On behalf of the Government and people of Niger State, I want to convey my sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased and also commiserated with Sarkin Sudan, Kontagora, Alhaji Sa’idu Namaska, and the entire people of Kontagora Emirate over the demised of Malam Muhammad Abdulmalik, Chief Imam of Kontagora”, SSG stressed.
The SSG prayed Allah (SWT) to grant the soul of the departed Aljannah Firdausi and comfort his family.
