The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has dismissed as fake a purported recruitment update circulating on some social media platforms, urging Nigerians to disregard the misleading publication.
In a public notice, the Service clarified that the recruitment information did not originate from the NCS and should not be relied upon.
The Service advised members of the public to obtain only verified information through its official communication channels to avoid falling victim to misinformation or recruitment scams.
According to the NCS, its official social media handles are: Facebook: Nigeria Customs Service; Instagram: @customsng; X (formerly Twitter): @customsng; Threads: @customsng; and TikTok: @customsng.
The Service further urged Nigerians to remain vigilant, verify information before sharing, and ignore any recruitment announcements not published through its official platforms.
