NUJ FCT Chair celebrates Dr Unoma Akpabio at 54, hails Her as Beacon of Hope

The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Council, Comrade Grace Ike, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to the Wife of the Senate President, Dr. Mrs. Unoma Akpabio, on the occasion of her 54th birthday.

 

In a congratulatory statement issued in Abuja, Comrade Ike, who is also of the Advocate Broadcasting Network (ADBN), described Dr. Akpabio as a visionary leader, compassionate employer, and a beacon of hope for the less privileged.

 

She commended Dr. Akpabio for her enduring commitment to humanitarian causes, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, and community development.

 

“Mrs. Akpabio has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of the vulnerable in our society,” Ike stated. “From awarding scholarships to underprivileged children and organizing medical outreaches, to empowering women and supporting local infrastructure projects, her philanthropic impact is both far-reaching and deeply felt.”

 

The NUJ FCT Chairman also highlighted Dr. Akpabio’s numerous interventions across Akwa Ibom State, including funding medical treatments for indigent patients and initiating developmental projects in rural communities.

 

“Her generosity and devotion to social responsibility set a commendable benchmark for leadership and service,” Ike added.

 

As Dr. Akpabio mark another milestone, Comrade Ike joined other well-wishers in praying for her continued health, strength, and prosperity.
