Isiokpo community today played host to the DG NYSC, Brig Gen YD Ahmed as he inaugurated the 48-room self-contained Corpers’ Lodge built by the Executive Chairman of Ikwerre LGA, Hon. Samuel Nwanosike.
The landmark project, which had two courtyards, two receptions and fully furnished rooms and kitchens was built to mark the 2nd year of the 2nd term in office of the Executive Chairman.
The project was also to appreciate the NYSC Scheme and Corps Members for their laudable contributions in improving the living standards of the good people of Ikwerre LGA.
Among the DG NYSC’s entourage were the Directors, Special Duties, Alhaji Musa Abubakar and Press & Public Relations, Mr. Eddy Megwa.
The State Coordinator, NYSC Rivers State, Mr. George Mfongang and Corps Members were also on ground to witness the landmark achievement.
