Governor of the State of Osun, Adegboyega Oyetola on Wednesday commiserated with the Chief Executive Officer of Rave 91.7FM, Osogbo, Femi Adefila, over the passing of his mother, Princess Felicia Olayonu Adefila, who died at the age of 85.
Oyetola in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, lamented the exit of Princess Adefila and urged the bereaved family to take solace in the fact that the deceased lived a fulfilled and exemplary life.
He said: “I am saddened by the news of the passage of your mother, Princess Felicia Olayonu Adefila, to eternal glory.
“On behalf of the Government and people of the State of Osun, I commiserate with you and other members of your family.
“Undoubtedly, her exit has created an irreplaceable vacuum in the family and her immediate environment.
“Nonetheless, I urge you, other members of the family and members of Saint Stephen Anglican Church, Ora Igbomina, where Mama was the Mayegun until her death, to take solace in the fact that she led a religious, fulfilled and exemplary life, as a devout Christian and Community leader.
“While I appreciate God’s benevolence and grace of age on Mama, it is my prayer that He will grant the entire family during this period of grief the fortitude to bear the loss”.
