Nigerian lawmakers and critical stakeholders in the power sector are currently undergoing a five-day Executive Study Tour of Turkey Electricity/Power Sector and Market from February 26th through 1st of March 2024 in Turkey.
On day two of the workshop, Chairman, Senate Committee on Local and Foreign Debts and Public Procurement ,Senator Haruna Manu representing Taraba Central Senatorial District actively participated in the various sessions.
Today’s topic is centred on Turkey Energy and Electricity Sector -Centre for Energy and Sustainable Development (CESD).
Senator Manu said “apparently the study tour as it’s unfolding is going to be a major tonic for us participating to see how we can replicate it in our power sector in Nigeria.
“So far, the study tour has been refreshing and we are really following up to learn more about the power sector here.
The program which has entered day three today, is expected to end on March 1st,2024.
