Taraba Governor,Kefas hails Senator Manu over power project for constituents

The Governor of Taraba State, Agbu Kefas has commended the Senator representing Taraba Central Senatorial District, Haruna Manu over power project he commissioned in his constituency on Tuesday.

 

Speaking through his representative, Commissioner for Science and Technology, Hon Muslim Usman Aruwa at the handover ceremony of two installed giant transformers to officials of the National Grid in Jantara Power Station in Mutum-Biyu,

 

Kefas said;”Distinguished Senator, your impact as a leader in the state has been felt across board. You have empowered many youths in diverse ways and provided succour to the less privileged at several instances.

 

“Today, we are here again to witness yet another gigantic project you have passionately provided for your people. This Power Project will go a long way to improve the standard of life of the people in this area. It will provide job opportunities and reduce idleness among youths in these communities. You are indeed, doing well, please continue.

 

“I want to use this time, to encourage you to continue with the good works so that you will complement the efforts of the State Government towards improving the living condition of the entire people of our dear state

Distinguished ladies and gentlemen,

 

I wish to appreciate Almighty God for seeing us through the previous year despite all the challenges.

 

I give thanks to Almighty God, for his mercy and unfailing love towards us especially for bringing us together into this blissful year of hope, 2024
