The Obafemi Awolowo University Muslim Graduates’ Association (UNIFEMGA)has congratulated His Lordship, Hon. Justice Tajudeen Olukayode Ariwoola on his appointment as the Acting Chief Justice of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
UNIEFEMGA in a statement made available to EMPORIUM REPORTERS expressed joy over the news of Justice Ariwoola appointment,the association joined other well-meaning Nigerians to felicitate with His Lordship on this well-deserved appointment.
UNIFEMGA said; “His Lordship, who is an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University and member of Obafemi Awolowo University Muslim Graduates’ Association (UNIFEMGA) has again asserted the contribution of the institution to the development of law in Nigeria. We are very happy to be identified with His Lordship who is a worthy ambassador of Great Ife and the nation at large.
“For the records, the appointment is yet another testimony of His Lordship commitment and contribution towards promotion of the rule of law and dispensation of justice in Nigeria. His Lordship trajectory of qualitative services rendered to the nation is a verifiable credentials across the country.
“Indeed, this appointment is yet another call and a challenge for His Lordship to continue to advance the course of justice and entrench fundamental human rights in the spirit of peace and unity in our dear country, most especially at a time Nigerians need reassurance and confidence in the judiciary.
“It is our sincere hope to remind His Lordship of a verse in the Holy Quran in conduct of his affairs as the Chief Justice which says:
“Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded.
(Chap 14 verse 90)
“We pray to Almighty Allah to grant him the wisdom and courage to dispense justice to all Nigerians in fairness as commanded by the Almighty Allah.
