YULETIDE: Niger CP directs Officers to fortify their Areas of Responsibility

The Commissioner of Police Niger State Command, CP Ogundele J. Ayodeji has directed massive deployment of Police personnel and operational assets across the State to provide adequate security before, during and after the Yuletide.
The CP gave the directive to officers during his monthly conference with HODs/Area Commanders and DPOs today being 21st December, 2022 at Police Officers’ Mess, Minna. He further directed Tactical Commanders, Area Commanders and DPOs to deploy men to public places, worship centres and other recreation centres to avoid any untoward incident.
He therefore enjoined officers to strictly comply with operation order drawn for the season and ensure high visibility policing across the highway in the State for adequate security of travellers and free flow of traffic for road users; in addition to township patrol and show of force to serve as deterrent approach for potential hoodlums, and quick rapid response for intervention in case of any incident.
He also urged members of the public/Nigerlites and Christian faithful to be law abiding before, during and after the Yuletide and continue to support the Police with adequate information towards ensuring a peaceful environment. He then assured Nigerlites of continued commitment of the Command in providing security, maintenance of law and order and protection of lives and properties among other duties.
“The CP, on behalf of officers and men of the Command wishes all Nigerlites, residents and Christian faithful Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year”the command added.
