As part of activities marking the 2025 Children’s Day celebration, the Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command, CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, mnips, hosted staff and students of Police Secondary School, Minna, at the State Police Headquarters, Dutsen-Kura, Minna on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025.
The students honoured the visit with a colourful guard of honour and anniversary parade, followed by the delivery of a special Children’s Day message by the Head Boy and Head Girl. They hailed the Commissioner as a father figure, a disciplined officer, and a symbol of justice and professionalism.
In his remarks, CP Elleman expressed delight and appreciation for the students’ impressive conduct and parade performance. He commended them for being exemplary ambassadors of the Police Command and encouraged them to remain obedient, dedicated to their studies, and committed to positive values.
“You are representatives of the Nigeria Police Force in your own capacity. Remain disciplined, avoid negative influences, and strive to become responsible citizens,” the CP advised.
The Commissioner also lauded the Commandant of the school, CSP Haruna Ibrahim, for his efforts in instilling discipline and moral values in the students and urged him to sustain the good work.
Present at the event were senior officers including Deputy Commissioner of Operations, DCP Falade Micheal; Deputy Commissioner of Investigation, DCP Adamu Ibrahim; and Deputy Commissioner of Administration, DCP Aminu Garba, among others.
