Crime : Niger Police receive Five Operational Vehicles, Two Gun-truck,others

Niger State Police Command has stated that the State Command received some crime fighting equipment and five (5) operational vehicles, including two (2) gun-trucks from the Police High Command.
The Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command CP Monday Bala Kuryas while inspecting the vehicles and the equipment; such as bullet-proof vests and helmets in company of his management team, appreciated the Inspector General of Police, IGP Alkali Baba Usman for releasing such equipment and vehicles to the State Command which he reiterated that such gesture will assist the Command in the fight against banditry and other acts of criminality in the State.
He therefore assured the IGP that the equipment and the vehicles will be used effectively and properly maintained as he later directed that the gun-trucks should be strategically deployed to bandits affected areas to boost the ongoing onslaught against banditry and other criminality in the areas while other three (3) pick-up trucks will also be deployed to intensify patrols and visibility policing in the State.
