Deputy Speaker Kalu Celebrates Gbajabiamila, Sanwo-Olu on Shared Birthday, Hails Leadership and Service

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Okezie Kalu, has congratulated the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on the occasion of their birthdays.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Press Affairs, Udora Orizu, Kalu described the coincidence of both leaders sharing the same birth date, June 25, as symbolic of two distinguished public servants whose contributions to governance and national development have left lasting impacts on Nigeria.

The Deputy Speaker praised Gbajabiamila, who turns 64, for his exemplary leadership, patriotism and commitment to public service. He highlighted the former Speaker’s legislative accomplishments and his role in strengthening democratic governance during his tenure in the House of Representatives.
Kalu also commended Gbajabiamila’s performance as Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that his experience, strategic insight and administrative competence have contributed significantly to the implementation of the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

“Rt. Hon. Gbajabiamila has remained a shining example of visionary leadership, dedication and service to the nation. From his impactful years in the National Assembly to his current role as Chief of Staff to the President, he has continued to demonstrate uncommon commitment to the progress, stability and development of Nigeria,” Kalu said.

The Deputy Speaker also celebrated Sanwo-Olu, who mark his 61st birthday, applauded his transformational leadership and commitment to the development of Lagos State.

According to Kalu, the governor has distinguished himself through visionary governance, impactful policies and infrastructure projects that have enhanced the quality of life of residents and strengthened Lagos’ position as a leading subnational economy in Nigeria.
He prayed for both leaders to enjoy continued good health, wisdom and greater accomplishments in service to the nation.
