Discharge your duties with interest of Nigeria – Senator Manu tells AMCON nominees

The Senator representing Taraba Central Senatorial District Senator Haruna Manu has advised Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON nominees to discharge their duties with the interest of Nigeria as their watchword.

Senator Manu gave this advice during the screening of President Bola Tinubu’s nominees by members of the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions on Monday.
He said:” I strongly encourage the nominees of AMCON to discharge their duties diligently and with a strong sense of responsibility towards the interest of Nigeria.”
“It is crucial for them to prioritize the welfare of the country and its citizens in all their decisions and actions. By working tirelessly and diligently, they can positively contribute to the development and stability of the Nigerian economy.
“It is important for them to uphold integrity, transparency, and accountability in all their endeavors to ensure the long-term success of AMCON and the well-being of the nation.
Those screened included Gbenga Alade for the position of Managing Director and other directors.
The screening exercise was chaired by the Chairman Senate Committee on Banking,Insurance and other financial Institutions, Sen. Abiru Tokunbo.
