This year’s Sallah Celebration no doubt has left an indelible mark as far as developing Ogun West is concerned.

For the thousands of youths who trooped to the abode of the amiable Rt Hon. Abiodun Isiaq Akinlade Abiodun Isiaq from different parts of the state to register their solidarity, its restoration of a lost Hope.

Overwhelmed with the show of solidarity by the youths, Akinlade, the Ogun State Federal Character Commissioner, minced no words in charging the youths to rise above all distractions and lukewarm attitude and embrace a fighting spirit to become successful ambassadors for their families and the state.

He admonished the youths not yet beneficiaries of federal government jobs not to be discouraged, but remain hopeful while they strive to uphold their moral values,

He said: “Nobody can develop Ogun West for us, but ourselves. The development we crave for is a process where everyone of us is expected to make collective effort to build.

“I have an utmost zeal and commitment to take as much youths as I am engraced to take out of the street by giving them jobs. The passion and drive to rekindle the lost hope and respect of our educated youth, to align them to the path where they can be useful for themselves, families and by extension, the state and nation at large.

“I choose this path because I feel the need to build Ogun West in my own little way. Each and everyone should also take that decision today; be a point of contact to anyone who cross your path, within your capability always help because that’s what building is all about.”

Akinlade further charged the youths to join hands with him to develop Ogun West, which he stressed was a project of the people.
