House of Assembly Polls; Former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris Cast his Vote. ….. Insists all votes must count

The former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris says for a virile and serene society, all votes must count in a democratic dispensation.
Idris made this assertion after casting his vote in his country home Abejukolo on Saturday for the House of Assembly elections in kogi state.
He said the process of electing a people’s choice Governor for Kogi state in November this year under the platform of PDP begins with the House of Assembly elections.
He expressed confidence that PDP candidate from Omala and other local government areas of Kogi state will form the next members of Kogi state House of Assembly, stating that opposition remained the bane of an egalitarian and democratic practices.
He advised INEC to improve on the mode of elections conducts, saying Nigerians are keen to have through representatives without force and pretences.
He urged the people of the area and entire Kogi state to shun vote apathy inspite of various lapses on the part of the electoral umpire.
