The Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command, CP Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman.decorated two senior officers who are recently promoted to the next rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police and Assistant Commissioner of Police today June 21st, 2024 in his office during management meeting.
While decorating the officers who are DCP Aloko Amodu, psc and ACP Yunusa Isa Wakili, the Commissioner of Police admonished them that, to whom much is given, much is expected and that the higher they go, the tougher it becomes, but he believed that they are up to the task based on their performances over the years which earned them the recommendation for the promotion.
He urged the beneficiaries not to relent in their future duties, and appreciated their spouses for supporting the officers by providing the enabling environment at home and taking care of the families. He finally offered prayers for the promoted officer and congratulated them. On behalf of the beneficiaries, DCP Aloko appreciated the PSC, IGP, and the Commissioner of Police for their effort towards promoting them to the next rank, he thanked the CP and other senior officers for their mentoring and guidance in the line of duty, and he shall continue to seek for such guidance even in his new capacity.
DCP Amodu Aloko, who was the Commandant, Police Training School, Minna hails from Duduguru area of Obi LGA of Nasarawa State, he holds B. Sc in Political Science and MPA in Public Administration from ABU Zaria and NOUN, Minna. He was enlisted into the NPF as Cadet ASP on August 15th, 1996, trained at Police Academy, Kano. He attended Junior Command Course, Tactical Leadership Command Course at Staff College, Jos and Advanced Strategic Leadership Course at NIPS, Abuja.
He served in various capacities such as DPO Agbado, Idiroko, OGS, DPO Bonny RVS, 2i/c Area Commander Portharcourt, 2i/c Area Commander Ilaro OGS, DPO Maitumbi, T/Wada, Shiroro, Wushishi, B Div Minna NGS, DPO Mbo Akwa-Ibom, Staff Officer Posting Forsec Abuja, Paymaster NGS, DTO Mokwa, DCO Enagi, DCO A Div K/gora, DCO A Div Bida and DCO Katcha. He loves reading and he is happily married with wonderful children. He has been redeployed as DC SCID Ekiti State Police Command.
ACP Yunusa Isa Wakili, who was the DPO Mokwa Div hails from Gussoro area of Shiroro LGA of Niger State. He holds NCE from Niger State College of Education and B. Sc (Ed) in Political Science from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. He was enlisted into the NPF as Cadet Inspector on June 10th, 1994, trained at Police Academy, Kano. He attended the Combat Operational Course at Gwoza, 2i/c Squadron Commanders’ Course at Ila-Orangun Osun State, Pmf College Ende-Hills Nasarawa State.
He had also served in various capacities which included, PMF Component Commander STF Jos, 2i/c 40PMF Jalingo, 2i/c 12PMF Minna, 2i/c 7PMF Sokoto, DPO Kagara, DPO Lapai and Commander SARS NGS. He loves farming and travelling, and he is happily married with a wonderful family. He is now posted as the Commandant, Police Training School, Minna
