Niger Govt reaffirms commitment to end security challenges ….. As forum of secretaries to 19 Northern States Govt meets in Kaduna

Niger State Government has reaffirmed that it will not relent its effort in addressing security challenges in the State.
This was disclosed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Ahmed Ibrahim Matane at the meeting of Forum of Secretaries of the 19 Northern States Government held at Gen. Hassan Usman Katsina House, Kaduna.
The SSG reiterated the commitment of the present administration led by Governor Abubakar Sani Bello to ensure lasting peace and security in all the communities affected by the activities of bandits, kidnappers and other criminal elements.
He charged traditional rulers, mai anguwas and people of the State to assist Government with relevant information of any suspicious movement of persons and objects with a view to aiding the work of security agencies in fighting insecurity in the State.
According to Ahmed Matane, Government is not resting on its oars in ensuring that banditry, kidnapping and other security challenges become a thing of the past.
The meeting which was attended by all the 19 Secretaries to the Northern States Government discussed on peer review of security situation in the Northern States and collation and review of outstanding committee reports.
